Fast Dental Treatment One-Visit Dentistry
If you’ve ever had a crown placed the traditional way, you know the process isn’t immediate. In most cases, having a traditional crown placed takes at least two office visits. On top of this, messy impressions and unreliable temporaries are often involved.
If this has been your experience so far, we have some good news for you—it doesn’t have to be this way anymore. At Pioneer Greens Dentistry, we’re delighted to offer one-visit dentistry using not one but two revolutionary CEREC milling units. Thanks to CEREC, procedures that once took multiple appointments can now be completed in a single visit to our Lincoln office.
True CEREC Experts
When it comes to helping patients with CEREC, Dr. Chris Haag and Dr. Claire Haag have a combined level of expertise few others come close to matching.
Dr. Chris Haag purchased his first CEREC unit in 2001. Since then he has served as a CEREC lecturer, and he founded and served as president of the CEREC Study Club of Lincoln. Dr. Claire also has years of experience with CEREC and is an active member of the CEREC Study Club.
With a total of two milling units today, Drs. Chris and Claire Haag are positioned to offer one-visit care in a way that few if any, other offices are capable of.
Would you like to transform and revitalize your smile in one visit? At Pioneer Greens Dentistry, we can help you improve the health and beauty of six to eight teeth over the course of just a single visit. Our CEREC milling unit will create your crowns as you wait comfortably in our dental chair. When they're ready, we'll ensure that they're shaded appropriately before attaching them in place and completing your procedure. At the end of your visit, you can leave with a greater sense of confidence and self-esteem.
Tooth-Colored Inlays & Onlays
Many times, a small amount of composite resin is all that's needed to treat decay or make small repairs to a tooth. But in cases of advanced decay or damage, an inlay or onlay may be necessary instead. Inlays and onlays function like fillings, but instead of being made from composite resin they're milled from porcelain. Inlays are designed to fit between the bumps on top of our teeth (known as the cusps) while onlays are made to fit over one or more of these bumps. With both of these exceptional services, you can reclaim up to 95% of your tooth’s original strength.
For as long as dentists have been using dental crowns, these restorations have been made from a variety of materials, including gold. But metal crowns don't have the most natural appearance. That's why, whenever possible, we prefer to use metal-free crowns. Not only do metal-free crowns look more natural, they can also be created in our Lincoln office with one of our CEREC milling units. Metal crowns, by comparison, look less natural and require multiple visits to place.
Root Canal Therapy
While most dental practices offer root canal therapy, few dentists can complete your entire procedure--which includes placing a custom-made crown--in a single visit. A second visit is often required to put the finishing touches on your tooth. But because Drs. Chris Haag and Claire Haag have invested in two CEREC milling units, we can complete both your root canal and your restorative build-up in one appointment. Imagine coming to our office with a severe toothache and leaving with a perfectly healthy tooth later that day. At Pioneer Greens Dentistry, that's what you can look forward to.
A full implant procedure is completed over two phases. In the first phase, one or more implants are surgically placed in your jaw. The second phase culminates in the attachment of your new custom-made restoration. At Pioneer Greens Dentistry, we can use our CEREC units to speed up the second half of your treatment. CEREC allows us to mill your abutment(s) and your crown(s) in one visit so we can attach them that same day.
