Shelly Ryan graduated from Iowa Western (affiliated with Creighton University) as a Dental Hygienist. Before hygiene school, Shelly was a dental assistant. With her background in the dental field she focuses on a team oriented approach to the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease and early cavity detection. Shelly has been with Drs. Chris and Claire Haag since the summer of 2006 and was Dr. Sahling's hygienest for the three years previous to that. She is originally from Ord, NE and enjoys outdoor activities such as running, biking, and skiing.
Jenny Zahourek has been a dental assistant since 2000. As a dental assistant, Jenny is responsible for the patient while they are "in the chair." She does a wonderful job making sure that all of the patients needs are met before, during, and after treatment. After most procedures, expect a call from Jenny, just to see how you are doing! She enjoys working at Pioneer Greens Dentistry because of the technology and great working atmosphere. Away from work she enjoys playing softball, volleyball and loves the HUSKERS !! She and her husband Steve have 2 children, Lexi and Noah.
Carmen Noecker graduated from UNMC College of Dentistry in May 2008 and began working at Pioneer Greens Dentistry in September 2008. She loves to educate patients & help them understand their periodontal health needs. Carmen soon will be having her first child. Her due date is the end of April. Carmen enjoys staying active with activities like biking, jogging, and outdoor sports.
Office Manager & Schedule Coordinator
Renee Pagels graduated from the SCC – Lincoln Dental Assisting Program in 2002. She joined Dr Sahling’s office first as his Dental Assistant and later as office manager in 2003. After merging Dr. Sahling’s office with Drs. Chris and Claire Haag's office, Renee became the office manager for the combined office - Pioneer Greens Dentistry!!! Renee loves working with people and helping them achieve their dental goals. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, outside activities, and spending time with her husband and 3 children.
Meggan Bartels is new to the office as of March and very happy to have accepted the position as Hygiene Coordinator. She says, “It’s good to be part of the PGD team & this beautiful office.” Meggan graduated from SCC as a graphic designer. Since college she has worked with many different professions including have worked at a bank, at a radio station, and a TV station. In her spare time she enjoys using her graphic design skills, running, biking & just staying active.
