 Jennifer Vinatieri has been a Dental Hygienist since 1991. She is originally from Rapid City, SD and graduated from the University of South Dakota. Jennifer, her husband Chad, and their 2 children, Chase and Brooklin, have lived in Lincoln since 2001. She has worked with Drs. Chris and Claire Haag since the fall of 2001. Jennifer has enjoyed growing with the office and working with the great technology we provide for our patients. Jennifer spends her ‘free’ time running her children to various sporting events throughout the year.
 Shelly Steele graduated from Iowa Western (affiliated with Creighton University) as a Dental Hygienist. Before hygiene school, Shelly was a dental assistant. With her background in the dental field she focuses on a team oriented approach to the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease and early cavity detection. Shelly has been with Drs. Chris and Claire Haag since the summer of 2006 and was Dr. Sahling's hygienest for the three years previous to that. She is originally from Ord, NE and enjoys outdoor activities such as running, biking, and skiing.
 Jenny Zahourek has been a dental assistant since 2000. As a dental assistant, Jenny is responsible for the patient while they are "in the chair." She does a wonderful job making sure that all of the patients needs are met before, during, and after treatment. After most procedures, expect a call from Jenny, just to see how you are doing! She enjoys working at Pioneer Greens Dentistry because of the technology and great working atmosphere. Away from work she enjoys playing softball, volleyball and loves the HUSKERS !! She and her husband Steve have 2 children, Lexi and Noah.
 Tonya Chewakin is the newest member of the Pioneer Greens Dentistry family. She comes to us with eight years of assisting experience and an amazing work ethic. This is Tonya's first experience with the CEREC and she can see that it makes crowns fast and easy for our patients. She also can't believe how beautiful they are! Tonya moved to Lincoln from Casper, Wyoming with her fiance Aaron who is a freshman in the dental program at the University of Nebraska. Tonya's hobbies include country music, waterskiing, wakeboarding, snowskiing, and snowboarding.

Dr. Chris Haag is a 1992 graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry. He has owned the CEREC since 2001, and is a trainer for dentists who have just begun to use CEREC. His dedication to excellence along with his continuing education and experience give patients the confidence they need to accept his treatment recommendations.
Dr. Claire Haag is a 1994 graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry. Her continuing education and experience means her patients get the level of dentistry they want. She currently practices part time and enjoys time as a homemaker.
Dr Sahling had his own private practice here in Lincoln for 30 years. He graduated from UNMC College of Dentistry in 1977. Dr. Sahling moved his practice from Lincolnshire Square on 70th and A Streets in July 2006 to Pioneer Greens Dentistry. In April of 2007, he moved to Texas with his wife, Betty Jo. Dr. Sahling handpicked Drs. Chris and Claire Haag to take over care of his patients. He is currently practicing part-time in Marble Falls, TX. Dr. Sahling misses his patients, but has been very pleased with the excellent dentistry Drs. Chris and Claire are providing his former patients. Dr. Sahling also enjoys visiting Pioneer Greens Dentistry when he is back in town! 
Renee Pagels graduated from the SCC – Lincoln Dental Assisting Program in 2002. She joined Dr Sahling’s office first as his Dental Assistant and later as office manager in 2003. After merging Dr. Sahling’s office with Drs. Chris and Claire Haag's office, Renee became the office manager for the combined office - Pioneer Greens Dentistry!!! Renee loves working with people and helping them achieve their dental goals. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, outside activities, and spending time with her husband and two little girls.
Barb Bergsten has worked in the dental field for 5 years. She loves having digital x-rays and a paperless office!!! She and her husband have lived on an acreage south of Lincoln for the past 32 years. Her children are still the light of her life. Barb’s interests include: cross-stitching, flower gardening, and her mutt dog, Kasey.
