Dentists
Dr. Chris Haag graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 1992 and he has been practicing in Lincoln ever since. He has owned the CEREC since 2001; Chris loves to help other dentists learn how to use this technology. As a guest lecturer at the UNMC College of Dentistry and as a mentor in the CEREC Program at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, Dr. Chris gives back to the educational community of advanced dentistry. The best teachers never stop learning, that’s why he’s also a student of The Spear Center for Dentistry, and his dedication to excellence—along with his continuing education and experience—give patients the confidence they need to accept his treatment recommendations.

Dr. Steve Wirth graduated from UNMC in 2008. He spent two years working in Oregon before choosing to return to school for advanced clinical training. He attended UMKC, doing their Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. The residency focused on complex restorative cases and dental implant placement and restoration. Dr. Steve brings a fun, easy-going energy along with his outstanding levels of patient service and care to Pioneer Greens Dentistry. When he’s out of the office, Dr. Steve enjoys running, golfing, and traveling. He will be providing the same tremendous levels of care to all of Dr. Claire’s former patients.

Dr. Claire Haag graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 1994. Dr. Clarie’s role in the office deals more with administration than patient care at this time. She enjoys spending time with her three sons as well as going jogging, playing tennis, and reading.

Dr. Sahling had his own private practice in Lincoln for 30 years. In April of 2007, he moved to Texas and handpicked Drs. Chris and Claire Haag to take over the care of his patients. He is currently practicing part-time in Marble Falls, TX, and he has been very pleased with the excellent dentistry Drs. Chris and Claire are providing for his former patients.
Hygienists
Carmen Noecker graduated from the UNMC with a bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been with Pioneer Greens Dentistry since 2008. She loves working with all the outstanding technology and team members at PGD. Outside of work, Carmen loves to spend time with her husband and son, and enjoys biking, cooking, and reading.
Cathy Chorowicz graduated from Central Community College in Hastings with an associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene. She brings a fresh perspective and a wonderful, team-oriented attitude to the PGD team. Cathy enjoys swimming, boating, and spending time with her family and friends.
Amy Moore graduated from the UNMC with a bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. She has quickly established herself as a key team member at Pioneer Greens Dentistry. Amy’s favorite part about working at PGD is the collaborative work atmosphere and the importance Drs. Chris and Claire Haag place on cutting-edge technology and quality customer service. She enjoys spending time with her family, jogging, and grilling out.
Dental Assistants
Michelle Wintz graduated from the SCC Lincoln Dental Assisting Program in 2009. Michelle adds a dynamic personality to the Pioneer Greens Dentistry office and she regularly goes above and beyond with our patients. She is familiar with American Sign Language (ASL). Michelle is from Verdon, Nebraska and she enjoys running, boating, reading, drawing, and spending time with her family and friends.
Kirstie Harvey graduated from the SCC Lincoln Dental Assisting Program in 2009. Kirstie is the newest addition to the Pioneer Greens Dentistry team, and we are excited to have her here. Kirstie is originally from Murdock, NE. In her spare time she enjoys hunting, fishing, photography, and spending time with family and friends.
Office Manager and Scheduling Coordinator
Jenny Williams has been part of the Pioneer Greens Dentistry team for the past 6 years. She has been an assistant for over a decade and has moved her expertise to our Office Manager. Jenny enjoys working at Pioneer Greens Dentistry because of the technology and the great working atmosphere. Away from work, she spends quality time with her husband and their five children.
Meggan Schlabach is the Hygiene Scheduling Coordinator at Pioneer Greens Dentistry. She graduated from SCC as a Graphic Designer. Before graduating, she held administrative roles at a bank, a radio station, and a TV station. In her spare time she enjoys running, biking, playing the piano, and cooking with her husband.
Diane Kaser is our Insurance Coordinator. She is a member of the American Dental coders Association and has a background in office management. Diane enjoys spending her free time with her daughter and son, who share a passion of photography, cooking, visiting local vineyards and repurposing vintage items.
